Joyce Sappier

With her family by her side, Mary Joyce Sappier of Tobique First
Nation passed away peacefully at her home on August 12, 2015.
Joyce was born at Tobique First Nation on May 7, 1935. She was the daughter of the late William and Patricia (Paul) Sappier. Joyce leaves behind her daughters Sharon Paul of Tobique First Nation, Virginia Jacques of Beaconsfield, Deborah Perley (Ivan) of Tobique First Nation; her sons Roger Bear (Connie Nicholas) and Gerald Bear (Tina), both of Tobique First Nation; her sister Geraldine Tomah of Princeton, ME; her brothers Robert Tomah of Tobique First Nation and Stuart Tomah of Princeton, ME; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her companion Bernard McCarthy; sons Sanford Bear and Dwight Bear; her sister Martina Tomah; her brothers Alexander "Sandy" Paul and Edward Tomah.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Tobique First Nation, NB. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated.
Music for the service was by Tracey Hamilton.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
