Edwin Stiles
1935-2015
Edwin Murray Stiles of Tilley passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu
St. Joseph Hospital on September 19, 2015.
Edwin was born on the Currie Road on August 19, 1935. He was the son of the late Ronald and Eva (Albert) Stiles. Edwin leaves behind his wife Dorilla Stiles (Ouellette); his daughters Diane Sturgeon of London, ON, Nancy Leclerc (Raymond) of New Denmark, Brenda LaFrance (Terry) of Tilley, Lisa Bourgoin (Ghislain) of New Denmark; his son Dale Stiles (Julia) of Anderson Road; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; his brothers Arthur Stiles of Anderson Road, Leon Stiles (Rina) of Somerville, NB. Edwin was predeceased by his parents; his infant daughter Mary Stiles; sisters Lina Neilsen and Greta Adams.
Edwin was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 6414. He was also a member of the New Brunswick Antique Auto Club. He was a very active member of St. Theresa's Parish.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 2:30 pm from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.
Music for the service was by Marshall Fournier, Lorrain Clark, and Linda Sprague. Reading were by Lisa Bourgoin, Chantal Bourgoin, and Erin Stiles.
Pallbearers were Rodney Stiles, Jamie Stiles, Andy Stiles, Derrick Leclerc, Morgan Leclerc, and Michael Bourgoin.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
