Ralph (Raoul) Lavoie

Following a lengthy illness, Ralph Raoul Lavoie of California Settlement passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph on September 22, 2015. He was the husband of the late Marie Lavoie (Martin).

Ralph was born in Riviere-Verte, NB on August 15, 1922. He was the son of the late Camille and Winnie (Sirois) Lavoie. Ralph leaves behind his son Dean Lavoie (Suzanne) of St. Albert, AB; five grandchildren; his sisters Reanne Rossignol of Grand Falls, Camilla Cowett of Presque Isle, ME, Elaine Currie (Eugene) of Burlington, ON, Jackie Lavoie of Grand Falls, Therese Lavoie-Smith (Lionel) of Florida, Patricia Gandriss (Joe) of Gardner, MA, Anne-Marie MacMullin (Jack) of Inglewood, ON; his brothers Harvey Lavoie of Joliette, QC, Conde Lavoie (Jackie) of Verdun, QC; his sister-in-law Evelyn Martin of Lasalle, QC.

Ralph was predeceased by his parents and his wife; sisters Aline Lavoie, Edwina Lavoie, Janelle Benvie, and Wilma Deegan; brothers Guy, Joe, Norman, and Camille Jr. "Pete" Lavoie.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Aroostook, NB. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dean Lavoie, Bruno Lavoie, Jacques Lavoie, John Guay, Joshua Guay, and Maurice Deschenes.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
