Cyril Tattersall
Cyril Tattersall of Perth-Andover passed away unexpectedly at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 25, 2015.

Cyril was born in Perth-Andover on May 4, 1926. He was the son of the late Harry and Beatrice (Cox) Tattersall. Cyril leaves behind his sons Alan Tattersall (Carolyn) of Moncton, Roy Tattersall of Saint John, Curtis Tattersall (Sandra) of Perth-Andover, Derek Tattersall (Arianne) of Montreal; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Elva Tattersall (Linton); his sons Cary and David Tattersall; his granddaughter Deidra Morrison.

Cyril worked as a Canada Customs Officer for 28 years. He was very active and volunteered in many activities. He was a Paul Harris Fellow, a volunteer fireman, and coached in both minor hockey and minor baseball. He was part of the committee that built the Perth-Andover Curling Club. He was a Lifetime Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #36, and also served as Legion President. He received the Meritorious Service Metal from the Royal Canadian Legion.

Respecting Cyril's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held. A graveside service will be held at Linton Corner Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
