Ruth Hansen of Anfield, formerly of New Denmark, passed away at Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 28, 2015.
Ruth was born in Canterbury, NB, on January 1, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Ingram) Grant. Ruth leaves behind her sons John Loeman of New Denmark, Herbert Loeman of Saint John, Brian Loeman of New Denmark; her sister Betty Arsenault (Larry), Evelyn Masters, Geraldine Small (Glen) all of Saint John, Nadine Thomas (Frank) of Burton, NB; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Arnold Loeman; her second husband Harmon Hansen; her sons Paul, Donald, William, and Kenneth Loeman; her daughter Sharon Loeman; her grandson Tony Loeman; her sister Elva Sheehan; brothers Ray and Willard Grant.
Funeral service was held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11 am from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Leblanc officiated. Interment followed in St. Ansgar's Anglican Cemetery, New Denmark, NB.
Music for the service was by Rev. Robert Leblanc. The eulogy was given by Donald Loeman.
Pallbearers were Brian Loeman, John Loeman, Herbert Loeman, Glen Small, Frank Thomas, and Harry Grant.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
