Dennis DeLeavey
1951-2015
Dennis Blake DeLeavey of Linton Corner, unexpectedly passed away at
the Edmundston Regional Hospital on October 6, 2015.
Born in Plaster Rock, NB on May 21, 1951, Dennis was the son of the late Albert and Beatrice (Mitton) DeLeavey. Dennis leaves behind his loving common-law partner, Rose Allaby; his daughter, Dawn DeLeavey of Moncton, NB; his son, Dustin DeLeavey of Ottawa, ON; step-sons, Chris Jenkins (Twila) of Mapleview, NB, and Leslie Green (Mary) of Moncton, NB. Dennis also leaves behind his brothers, Derle DeLeavey (Ruth) of Burton, NB, Wayne DeLeavey (Queenie) of North View, NB, Dallas DeLeavey (Kay) of Prince George, BC, and Vaughn DeLeavey (Debbie) of Morrisburg, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Rev. Aaron DeMerchant officiated.Interment followed in the Anfield Community Cemetery.
The eulogy was given by Herman Hudnut. The urn was carried by Dennis' son, Dustin DeLeavey.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
