Lavada Johnston

Lavada Johnston of Perth-Andover passed away at the Victoria Glen Manor on January 28, 2016.

Lavada was born in Perth-Andover on May 26, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Herthaway) Lovely. Lavada leaves behind her companion of over 20 years Edwin Ouellette of Perth-Andover; her daughters Judy McGuire (David) of Carlingford, Elizabeth Murchison (Tony) of Aroostook; her sisters Ruth Nowlan of Fredericton, Marie Murphy (Mike) of Fredericton, Bonnie Smith of Perth-Andover, Judy Sargefield of Hartland, Joyce Smith (Dalton) of Perth-Andover; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters Linda Lovely, Sharon Lovely, Margaret Lovely, and Anita Holmes.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. David Ferrell officiated, assisted by Rev. Jonathan McNair and Rev. Todd McGuire. Interment will be in Larlee Creek Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Rev. Todd and Penny McGuire. The eulogy was given by Rev. Todd McGuire.

Pallbearers were David McGuire, Rev. Todd McGuire, Tony Murchison, Matt Murchison, Chris McGuire, and Daniel Brown.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
