E. Lewis  Dionne
With his loved ones by his side, Earle Louis Dionne of Gladwyn, NB passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on April 27, 2016.

Lewis was born in Edmundston, NB on August 24, 1926. He was the son of the late Earl and Julia (Ouelette) Dionne. Lewis leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth "Betty" Dionne (Clark); his daughters Shelly Dionne (Keith) of Plaster Rock, Kim Dionne of Halifax, NS; his sons Dan Dionne (Jessie) of Tilley, Dwight Dionne (Christie) of Lower Sackville, NS, Ron Dionne (Sheila) of Whitehorse, YT, Marc Dionne (Allyson) of Yellowknife, NT; his grandchildren Scott, Julia, Christopher, and Morgan; his great grandchildren Layla, Brooke, and Codder; his sisters Betty Ann McMackin of Fredericton, Theresa LaBreche of Saskatoon, SK; brothers William Dionne (Barbara) of Ottawa, ON, Robert Dionne of Rothesay.

Lewis was predeceased by his parents; his son Todd Dionne; his sisters Emily Johnston, Adeline Dionne, and Rita Hayward; brothers Alex, Leo, and Ron Dionne.

Lewis dedicated his life to farming potatoes and raising dairy and beef cattle. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, National Farmers Union, Knights of Columbus 4th degree knight, and a member of the St. Mary of the Angels choir.

Lewis enjoyed fishing, gardening, making maple syrup, spending quality time enjoying the view from his back deck with his beloved dog Tilley. But his greatest joy was spending time at home surrounded by his family.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2 pm from St. Mary of the Angles Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated. A private interment will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Red Rapids, NB at a later date.

Music for the service was by St. Mary of the Angels Church choir. The eulogy was given by Ron Dionne. The urn was carried by Lewis' grandson, Scott Dionne.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
