Merile Pelletier of Plaster Rock passed away unexpectedly at his home
on June 4, 2016.
Merile was born in Drummond, NB on February 20, 1934. He was the son of the late Augustin and Adelia (Levesque) Pelletier. Merile leaves behind his wife of 50 years Mary Pelletier (Robinson); his children Leanne Pelletier-O'Hara (Michael) of Lake Edward, NB, Theresa Eccleston (Brian) of Anderson Road, NB, Kevin Pelletier (Sara) of Plaster Rock, NB; his stepchildren Marilyn Stacey (Roy) of Plaster Rock, NB, Thomas Robinson (Pauline) of Barrie, ON, Brian Edgar (Diane) of Grand Falls, NB; his grandchildren Amber, Corey, Travis, Tyler, Kurt, Alyssa, Kristin, Justin, Hilary, Kelsey, Lindsay, Ian, Hailey, and Keaton; seven great grandchildren; his sister Velma Theriault of Grand Falls, NB; his brother Louis Pelletier (Alma) of New Denmark, NB.
Besides his parents, Merile was predeceased by his sisters Jane Theriault and Roselva Pelletier; his brothers Neil, Joe, and Gilbert Pelletier.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 2 pm from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated, assisted by Mr. Harold Short-Evans and Mr. Paul Paradis. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
Music for the service was by Rev. Daniel and Ruth McKillop. The eulogy was given by Kevin Pelletier.
Pallbearers were Ian O'Hara, Mike O'Hara, Brian Edgar, Brian Eccleston, Travis Paris, and Tyler Stacey.
Arrangements wer entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
