Maynard Blair Sr. of Birch Ridge, NB passed away at St. Joseph's
Hospital in Saint John on the evening of June 23, 2016.
Maynard was born in Black River, Kings Co., NS on March 11, 1925. He was the son of the late Ambrose and Addie Blair. Maynard leaves behind his daughters Heather Weaver of British Columbia, Sharron Chappel (Kenny) of Plaster Rock, Belinda Hebert of Birch Ridge, Penny Kinney (Mitchell) of Anfield; his son Maynard Blair Jr. (Marie) of Birch Ridge; his stepson Verdell Arenburg of Plaster Rock; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Maynard was predeceased by his wife Mary Blair (Dodge); his infant daughter Laura Blair; his step-children Patsy Arenburg and Wayne Arenburg.
A private graveside service was held at the Rowena Baptist Cemetery on Monday, June 27, 2016.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
