Emma L. Foster
With her family by her side, Emma Lillian Foster of Perth-Andover passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on August 21, 2016.

Emma was born in Drummond, NB on April 7, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Havelock and Allie (Toner) Mason. Emma leaves behind her children Donna Schofield of Perth-Andover, Dale Dyer (Martha) of Saint John; her grandchildren Sharon, Brent (Gale McAloon), Tanya (Herb DeMerchant), Troy, Peter, and Joy; three special great grandchildren Brandon Wenn, Mason Crain, and Amber Gaunce. Emma also has three other grandchildren; her special niece Elaine Rutherford of Albany, NY; special nephews Junior Mason of Grimsby, ON and Jeff Mason of Albany, NY; her sister-in-law Lena Foster of Perth-Andover; along with many cousins.

Besides her parents, Emma was predeceased by her first husband Roland Dyer; her second husband Gerald Foster; her grandchildren Victoria and Stephen; her brothers Gordon and Leo Mason.

Emma worked as a nurse's aid at the Victoria Glen Manor for 22 years prior to her retirement.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016 at 2 pm from Calvary Tabernacle. Rev. David Ferrell officiated, assisted by Rev. Jonathan McNair. Interment followed in Linton Corner Cemetery.

Music for the service was by organist Roma Ferrell and Rev. David Ferrell. The eulogy was given by Gale McAloon.

Pallbearers were Dale Dyer, Brent Gaunce, Troy Gounce, Mason Crain, Wilfred Finnamore, and Herb DeMerchant.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
