Geneva Ferne Grant of Perth-Andover passed away at the Upper River
Valley Hospital on August 31, 2016.
Ferne was born in Four Falls on December 10, 1933. She was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Williams) Everett. Ferne leaves behind her daughter Naida Fournier (Danny) of Kilburn, NB; her sons Reginald Grant (Patti) of Perth-Andover, NB and Jeffrey Grant (Sharon Firth) of Tide Head, NB; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; her sisters Barbara Carpenter (Chuck) of Oklahoma, Georgia Pelkey (Dale) of Four Falls.
Besides her parents, Ferne was predeceased by her husband Clayton Grant; her son Glendon Grant; her sisters Beulah McIsaac and Jean Armstrong; brothers Donald and Fred Everett.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11 am from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. David Ferrell officiated. Interment followed in Larlee Creek Cemetery.
Music for the service was by Rev. David and Roma Ferrell, and Gerald and Charlene Fraser. A poem was read by granddaughter Megan Grant. The eulogy was given by grandson Kyle Grant.
Pallbearers were Hugh Fournier, Chad Fournier, Craig Fournier, Scott Grant, Kyle Grant, and Jason Fournier.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
