Ronald Kennedy
1926-2016
With his family by his side, Ronald Kennedy passed away peacefully at
Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 17, 2016.
Ronald was born in Beaconsfield, NB on September 8, 1926. He was the son of the late G. Allison and Birdie (Clark) Kennedy. Ronald leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Mary Kennedy (O'Hagan); his sons Dr. Larry Kennedy (Brenda) of Perth-Andover, Randall Kennedy (Dr. Katrena) of Kaneohe, HI, Dr. Carter Kennedy (Karen) of Perth-Andover, Dr. Allison Kennedy (Rhonda) of Perth-Andover; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Ron was the last surviving member of his family.
Ron was predeceased by his parents; his grandson Jeran Kennedy; sisters Madeleine Kramer, Doris Patterson, and Lois Plant; his brothers Louis Kennedy, Glen Kennedy, and Graydon Kennedy.
A private family funeral was held on September 19, 2016 from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment followed in St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Cemetery.
The eulogy was given by Ron's grandson, Dr. Andrew Kennedy. The reading was by Ron's granddaughter, Hillary Kennedy.
Pallbearers were Matthew Kennedy, Ian Golder, Brad Kennedy, Carson Kennedy, Lachlan MacIntosh, and Kirk McCarthy.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
