Phillip Swazey

It is with profound sadness that the family of Phillip J. Swazey
announce his unexpected death at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on
September 19, 2016.
Phillip was born in Perth-Andover, NB on April 23, 1960. He was the son of John and Dianna (Boone) Swazey of Rowena. Besides his parents. Phillip leaves behind his wife Sarah Swazey (MacKenzie); his sons Ryan Swazey of Woodstock, Matthew Swazey (Holly) of Oromocto, Bryden Swazey at home, and Kayden Swazey at home; his sisters Angela Hudson (Ron) of Tobique Narrows, Adena Robinson (Kevin) of Carlingford; brothers Peter Swazey (Nancy) of Rowena, Perry Swazey (Tammy) of Perth-Andover; his father and mother-in-law Michael and Sadie MacKenzie of Cape Breton; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service was held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11 am from the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church. Rev. David Wilcox officiated, assisted by Rev. Reg Thomas and Father Gilbert Doddatto. Interment followed in the Rowena Baptist Cemetery.
Music for the service was by soloist Sandi Tattersall and pianist Perry Swazey. The eulogy was given by Peter Swazey.
Pallbearers were Shane Rossignol, Christopher McCrea, Alain Morin, Erik Tepper, Jamie Swazey, and Lucas Robinson.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
