Henry J. Christian

Following a courageous battle with cancer, Henry Joseph Christian of Bairdsville passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 28, 2016.

Henry was born in Cape St. George, NF on January 7, 1953. He was the son of the late Harry and Constance (Lainey) Christian. Henry leaves behind his wife Lauri Christian (Atkinson); his daughters Christine Robia of Saint John, Lori Butt (Dean) of Saint John, Jessica Christian of Markham, ON; his son Andre Christian (Catherine) of Arthur, ON; his stepson Howard McGregor (Stephanie) of Oshawa, ON; his sisters Tess Loverne (Fred) of Pace, FL, Margaret Alexander (Ken) of Kippens, NF, Norma French of Kippens, NF, Helen Lagatdu of Degrau, NF, Lorraine Hanrahan (Bill) of Saint John, Leona Kapp (Bob) of Kearney, NJ; along with eight grandchildren.

Henry was predeceased by his parents; his sister Mazzie Manford; his brothers Eugene, Clifton, Peter, Donald, and Christopher.

Respecting Henry's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in Cape St. George, NF.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
