Emily Manzer
1941-2016
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Emily Manzer of Hillandale,
NB passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on October 7,
2016.
Emily was born in Bairdsville, NB on April 5, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Rillia (Gregory) Manzer. Emily leaves behind her sisters Marion Nicol of Hillandale, Joyce Cummings (Stuart) of Easton, ME; her brother Ralph Manzer (Marianne) of Fredericton. She also leaves behind four nieces, three nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Emily spent her entire life in Andover and worked many years as secretary to the Superintendent of Schools. She was a long time member of the Weslyan Church.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Reg Thomas officiated. Interment followed in St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Bairdsville, NB.
Music for the service was by Shelly Keizer. The eulogy was given by Cheryl Clark and Leslie Farris.
Pallbearers were George Davidson, John Wade, Stuart Cummings, Robert Clark, Danny Farris, and Eugene Gregory.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
