Joan Beveridge

Joan Beveridge passed away peacefully at the Tobique Valley Manor in Plaster Rock on October 9, 2016.

Joan was born in Woodstock, NB on July 15, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Jean (Miller) Hayden. Joan leaves behind her daughter Marilyn DeMerchant (Joe) of Aroostook; her sons Robert Beveridge of Winnipeg, MB, Marvin Beveridge of Nanaimo, BC; her brother Gordon Hayden (Lucinda) of Nanaimo, BC; her grandchildren Shawn, Calvin, Brody, and Fiona. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Dale Beveridge; her infant granddaughter Brooke DeMerchant.

Joan was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the A.C.W.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11 am from the Tobique Chapel. Father Stephen Harnish officiated. Interment followed in the Riley Brook Community Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Mr. Kenneth Campbell. The eulogy was given by Mrs. Polly Reed. The reading was Mrs. Elizabeth Sullivan.

Pallbearers were Jeff Beveridge, Fred Miller, Jack Miller, Ricky Reed, Randy Reed, and Keith Harding.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
