Elmer Cormier
1944-2016
Elmer Cormier of New Denmark passed away peacefully at the Grand Falls
General Hospital on October 22, 2016.
Elmer was born in Plaster Rock, NB on May 28, 1944. He was the son of the late Alfred and Mary (DeLeavey) Cormier. Elmer leaves behind his daughter Pauline Maria Cormier of St-Quentin, NB; his sisters Marie Robinson of Blue Bell, Janet Taylor of Perth-Andover, Yvette Maguder (Tom) of Waterville, ME, Doreen Daye of Shediac, NB; his brother Mike Cormier (Sharon) of Plaster Rock; and four grandchildren.
Elmer was predeceased by his parents; his son Monty Cormier; and his brother Marvin Cormier.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 from the Tobique Chapel. Interment followed in the Anfield Community Cemetery.
A number of Elmer's family members and friends shared stories and memories at the service.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
