Frances Henderson

Following a brief illness, Frances Henderson of Plaster Rock passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Grand Falls General Hospital on November 7, 2016.

Frances was born in Lion's Head, ON on March 16, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Delina McArthur. Frances leaves behind her son Kevin Sloane (Kathy) of Gordonsville, NB; her step-sons Dwayne Christensen (Alma) of Plaster Rock, Greg Christensen (Trena) of Hillandale; her eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her sisters Thelma Liverance (Larry Cameron) of Lion's Head, ON, Yvonne Gunnis of Scarborough, ON, Penny Conlin of Scarborough, ON, Norma Conrad (Jim) of Orangeville, ON; her brothers Dennis McArthur of Tobermory, ON, Harold McArthur (Connie) of Scarborough, ON; her daughter-in-law Joanne Sloane of Stokes Bay, ON.

Frances was predeceased by her parents; her husband Carl Henderson; her daughter Janet Sloane; and her son Randy Sloane.

In keeping with Frances' wishes, there will be no funeral service held. A Celebration of Frances' Life will be held at the Welcome Center, 159 Main St., Plaster Rock, NB on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 1-6 pm. Frances' ashes will be buried in Ontario at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
