Marion Squires

Marion Squires of Perth-Andover passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor of November 12, 2016.

Marion was born in Piercemont, NB on August 14, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Williams) Grant. Marion leaves behind her sons Richard Squires (Joanne) of Sarnia, ON, Terrance Squires of Belleville, ON, Kenneth Squires (Sherry) of Fredericton, NB; six grandchildren; her sisters Lois Broad (Ashby) of Maplehurst, Adelia Walton of Maplehurst, Leona Morgan of Perth-Andover, Rosella Rice of New Hampshire; her brothers Berlin Grant of Saint John, Roy Grant (Nellie) of North Carolina, Edward "Buster" Grant (Marlene) of Perth-Andover, Keith Grant (Gail) of Saint John, Paul Grant (Ann) of Bath, John Grant of Saint John; along with many nieces and nephews.

Marion was predeceased by her parents; her husband Frank Squires; her sister Nina Smith; brothers Phillip, Arnold, Burton, and Edwin "Tiny" Grant.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. James Walton officiated, assisted by Rev. Jonathan McNair. Interment follow in the Wharton Cemetery, Upper Kent, NB.

Music for the service was by Mrs. Carolyn Kinney.

Pallbearers were Stephen Squires, Courtney Squires, Jennifer Squires, Brittany Squires, Mike Grant, and Tracey McCrea.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
