Velma Brayall
Velma Brayall of Perth-Andover, formerly of Tilley, passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on November 27, 2016.

Velma was born in California Settlement on January 15, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Sr. and Fern (Dee) Williams. Velma leaves behind her daughters Gail LaFrance (Willard) of Tilley, Judy Waugh of Bristol, Marlene Waugh (Ronald) of Lerwick, Kathy Betts (Gerald) of Waterville, Karen Stuckless (Sean) of Maugerville; her sons Gary Williams (Betty) of Saint John, Dave Brayall (Hope) of Crombie Settlement, Lance Brayall (Tina) of Calgary; 25 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; sisters Arlene Ladner of Easton, ME, Ada Perley of Tobique First Nation; her brother Leonard Williams Jr. (Cheryl) of California Settlement; her daughter-in-law Connie Norsworthy of Fredericton; her sister-in-law Jean Williams of Fredericton.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Lorraine "Peanut" Brayall; an infant daughter; her son Leroy "Duke" Brayall; a son-in-law Gary Waugh; sisters Alma Williams, Robena Goodine, Leola Smith, Leona Pelkey; brothers Hubert and Gilbert Williams.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Jonathan McNair officiated. Interment followed in the Currie Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Susan Geneau, Elizabeth Brayall, and Tammy Chase. The eulogy was given by Roger Pelkey.

Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Waugh and Trevor LaFrance.

Pallbearers were Michael LaFrance, Sam Brayall, Andy Betts, Christopher Waugh, Rick Waugh, and Dean Waugh.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
