Otis Bowmaster

Following a lengthy illness, Otis Bowmaster of Bairdsville passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on November 29, 2016.

Otis was born on March 4, 1930. He was the son of the late John and Sylvina (McQuade) Bowmaster. Otis leave behind his daughters Jackie Cote of Blue Bell, Barbara Bowmaster of Grand Falls, Elizabeth Oucherou (Mourad) of Moncton; Amanda Bowmaster of Edmonton, AB; her sons Raymond Bowmaster of Bairdsville, Peter Bowmaster (Novella Donovan) of Perth-Andover; Gerald Bowmaster of Bairdsville, David Bowmaster of Bairdsville, Jeff Bowmaster of Tobique First Nation, Scott Bowmaster of Bairdsville; his sisters Dolly Foster of Bairdsville, Florence Greer of Lakeville, Lorraine Johnson (Blair) of Woodstock, Linda Adams (Robert) of Fredericton; brothers Jerome of Bairdsville, Eugene of New Denmark, Louis (Bonnie) of Riverview, John Jr. (Nancy) of Perth-Andover, Brian (Angela) of Edmonton, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Otis was predeceased by his parents; his wife Mary Bowmaster (Blanchette); his daughters Patricia and Debbie Bowmaster; his sons Roy and James Bowmaster; his grandson Wesley Bowmaster; his brothers Cecil, Delbert, Francis, Charles and Ambrose Bowmaster; and infant sister Louise Bowmaster; his half-sister Pearl Haines.

Funeral service was held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiated. Interment will be in St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Pallbearers were Raymond Bowmaster, Peter Bowmaster, Gerald Bowmaster, Jeff Bowmaster, Jessie Bowmaster, and Brenan Morgan.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
