Dorothy Riddell of Perth-Andover passed away peacefully at Victoria
Glen Manor on December 18, 2016.
Dorothy was born in Lower Kintore on February 18, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Lena (Giberson) Lappage. Dorothy leaves behind her son Winston Riddell (Lynn) of Red Rapids; her grandson Chad Riddell (Kathy) of Rowena; her great grandchildren Ethan and Taylor Riddell; her sister Jean Ross of Guelph, ON; brothers Arnold Lappage of Lower Kintore and Fred Lappage (Joyce) of North Bay, ON.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Leonard Riddell; sisters Alice Rideout, Ruth Lewis, Olive Hurley, and Bertha McDougall; brothers Phillip, Lewis, and Georgie Lappage.
Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Electra Chapter #9. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch # 36.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 4 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Susan Estabrooks officiated. Interment will be in the Melville United Church Cemetery, Kincardine, NB, at a later date.
Music for the service was by Mrs. Debbie McQuarrie. The eulogy was given by Mr. Daniel Goodine.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
