Shawn "Burney" Bernard of Old Town, ME passed away
unexpectedly at his home on December 16, 2016.
Burney was born in Perth-Andover on July 13, 1982. He was the son of Charles Bernard Sr. and the late Lynn Tardiff. Besides his father, who lives in Caribou, ME, Burney leaves behind his sister Nanette Levasseur of Madawaska, ME; his brothers Charles "CJ" Bernard Jr. of Ottawa, ON, Louis Levasseur of Madawaska, ME; his step-sister Jessica Levasseur of Caribou, ME; along with his two nieces, Alexia Durant of Brockville, ON and Caiah Bernard-Rosado of Caribou, ME.
Funeral service was held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier celebrating, assisted by Father Jean-Paul Labrie.
Music for the service was by organist Tracy Hamilton and the church choir. The eulogy was given by Shawn's brother, Charles "CJ" Bernard Jr.
Pallbearers were Edwin Bernard, Phillip Sappier, Muskie Sockabasin, Ryan Sappier, Jaime Idol, and Louis Levasseur.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
