Sharon Traugh of Tobique First Nation passed away unexpectedly at her
home on January 6, 2017.
Sharon was born in Tobique First Nation on April 9, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey Sr. and Marjorie (Moulton) Perley. Sharon leaves behind her husband of 46 years Reginald Traugh; her daughter Shawna Traugh of caribou, ME; her sons Reginald Traugh III of Tobique First Nation, Ryan Traugh (Jenelle Perley) of Tobique First Nation; her sisters Carla Paul, Hart Perley (Tony Bear), Julie Perley, Suanne Perley, Michelle Perley, all of Tobique First Nation, Erica Perley of Moncton; her brothers Dana Perley (Sandra) of Nova Scotia, Aubrey Perley Jr. (Dora) of Tobique First Nation; grandchildren Vaeha and Ryker Traugh.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents and her brother Claude Perley.
Sharon was a nurse earlier in her career. In recent years, she worked as the financial manager at the Tobique Wellness Center until her health forced her to retire about a year ago.
In keeping with Sharon's wishes, a private service for the family will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
