Henry Robert "Bob" Pelletier of McLaughlin, NB, passed away
unexpectedly at the Upper River Valley Hospital on February 18,
2017.
Bob was born in McLaughlin, NB, on November 26, 1942. He was the son of the late Gerald and Kathleen (Bedford) Pelletier. Bob leaves behind his wife Nancy Pelletier (Stackhouse); his daughter Ursula White (James) of Pefferlaw, ON; his sons Gerald Pelletier (Michelle) of Saint John, William "Billy" Pelletier (Rochelle) of Perth-Andover, Robert Pelletier (Christine) of Saint John; his grandchildren Jerrica, Chauntel, Dominic, Gabrielle, Ursula, Jordan, Jarred, Benjamin, and Samuel; his sister Charlene Campbell (Marven) of McLaughlin; his brothers Adelard Pelletier (Helen) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Alfred Pelletier (Bonnie) of Penticton, BC, Richard Pelletier (Betty) of New Denmark.
Bob was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Edith Pelletier (Brandhoff); and his sister Dolly Tompkins.
Bob served in the military for over 30 years, 20 of those years with the Royal Canadian Regiment. After his military career, Bob owned and operated the local Pop Shop for over 30 years.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 2 pm from the Sisson Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Dwayne Broad officiated. Interment will be in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery at a later date.
Music for the service was by Mike and Tammy Chase, and Janice Broad. The eulogy was given by Michelle Pelletier and a poem was read by Ursula Pelletier (Bob's niece). The urn was carried by Bob's grandson, Dominic.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
