It is with sadness that the family of Isobel (Zoe) Boone announces her passing at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton, N.B. on Monday Feb 27, 2017 at the age of 94.

Born in Aberdeen Scotland on July 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Isobel Hazel (LeFevre) Blair. Zoe is survived by sons Gordon and wife Janet of Fredericton, NB, Stephen and wife Kathy of Hantsport, NS; her four grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Andrew, and Jennifer and her great-grandson Ashton. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Marshall Boone, half-sister Elize Hooper, and special friend Walton Inman.

Zoe came to Canada in 1945. She served in HMS Women’s Land Army and WRENS Fleet Air Army during WWII. She was a proud member of the War Brides Association and Arthurette Legion, Brach # 85.

Funeral service was held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Reg Thomas officiated. Interment will be in the Rowena Baptist Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Bill Taylor, John Maunder, and Darlene Morton. A poem was read by Zoe's great grandson, Ashton Little. The eulogy was given by Melinda Jarrett.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
