Bertrand Gagnon
With his family by his side, Bertrand Joseph Gagnon of Aroostook passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on April 10, 2017.

Bertrand was born in Grand Falls, on December 13, 1936. He was the son of the late Eugene and Marie (Langlais) Gagnon. Bertrand leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Yvette Gagnon (Mazerolle); his daughter Jackie Gagnon (Kevin Dunster) of Aroostook; his granddaughter Stephanie Fournier of Aroostook; his sisters Jean Pelletier of Ontario, Rose Pelletier of Quebec, Germaine Bennett (Mark) of Centerville, NB, Rina Snowdon of Ontario, Dorothy Pelkey (James) of Four Falls, Delima Micke of Phoenix, AZ; his bother Nelson Gagnon (Evelyn) of Ontario.

Bertrand was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Andre and Noel Gagnon.

Bertrand was a local strawberry producer for many years. He was a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, Council # 6414. He has been a resident of the Victoria Glen Manor for the past six years.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 12 noon from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated, assisted by Father Curtis Sappier. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Dave Eagan. The eulogy was given by Jackie Gagnon.

Pallbearers were Danny Pelkey, Ben Pelkey, Willis Bowmaster, Derrick Tupper, Kevin Dunster, Dale Hanson, and Terry Everett.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
