Bessie Cronk
With her family by her side, Bessie Cronk of Aroostook passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on the morning of April 29, 2017.

Bessie was born in Lake Edward, NB on May 19, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Celia (Higgins) McQuade. Bessie leaves behind her daughters Doreen Roach (Wayne) of Aroostook, Linda Hoyt (Kendall) of Quaker Brook, Caroline Baird (Tom) of Perth-Andover; her sons Douglas Cronk (Michel) of Newcastle, ON, Ervan Cronk (Joanne) of Belisle Bay, NB, James Cronk of Red Rapids, Warren Cronk (Jeanne) of Aroostook; along with one more who called her "Mum", Kirk Cronk of Orangeville, ON; 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Helen Cronk of Hamilton, ON.

Bessie was predeceased by her parents; her husband Ivan Cronk; her sons Charles Cronk, and Stephen Cronk (late Judy); sisters Lena Withmore, Pearl St. Peter, Theresa Brayall, Beatrice Plant, Florence Hudson, and Grace McQuade; brothers Henry, Ernest, and Guy McQuade; and a special nephew, Harold McQuade.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11 am from the Trinity Anglican Church. Father Stephen Harnish officiated, assisted by Father Gilbert Doddatto. Interment followed in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Limestone Siding, NB.

Music for the service was by David Eagan. The eulogy was given by Douglas Cronk. The urn was carried by Kirk Cronk.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Victoria Glen Manor for the care they have given to Bessie while she was a resident.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
