Carol Mahaney of Sisson Ridge, NB, passed away unexpectedly at Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on June 26, 2017.
Carol was born in Oak Point, NB, on September 21, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Smith and Olive (Stewart) Ashford. Carol leaves behind her husband, Marven Mahaney; her daughter, Tracey St. Peter (Shawn) of Hazeldean, NB; her son Dennis Mahaney of Whitecourt, AB; her daughter-in-law, Denise Mahaney of Unity, SK; her grandchildren, Courtney St.Peter, Haley St. Peter, Dakota Mahaney, Danae Mahaney, and Deacon Mahaney; her sister, Shirley Francis of Hampton, NB; brothers Stephen Ashford of Saint John, NB, Jimmy Ashford (Dorothy Tapley) of Everett, NB, William Ashford (Sheila) of Plaster Rock; her special niece, Alma Christensen (Dwayne) of Plaster Rock; along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carol was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Etta Parsons, Vesta Ashford, Ada Connell, and Edith McNally; her great nephew, Tyler Christensen.
A graveside service will be held at Linton Corner Cemetery on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2 pm.
Following the graveside service, a reception will be held at the Sisson Ridge Baptist Church
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
