Mary Turner

Mary Turner of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on October 4, 2017.

Mary was born in Grand Falls, NB, on March 15, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Hudson) Sloat. Mary leaves behind her daughters, Kaye Turner, Brenda Turner, Vikki Standish, and Heather Turner, all from the State of New York; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Darrel Turner; her sisters, Ernestine Moore and Laura Pelkey; brothers, Douglas Kelley, Kinley Kelley, Jack Kelley, Gerald Sloat, Robert Sloat, and Charles Sloat.

Funeral service was held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 2 pm from the Perth-Andover Baptist Church. Pastor Michael Fredericks officiating, assisted by Mrs. Sheila Cummings. Interment followed in the Perth-Andover Baptist Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Pastor Michael Fredericks and Mrs. Marianne Bell.

Pallbearers were Jeff Clark, Bud Kelley, Kelly Moore, Doug Moore, Brent Pelkey, and Norm Leblanc.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
