Malcolm Hollins Sr.
Following a brief illness, Malcolm "Mackie" Hollins Sr. of Arthurette, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on November 17, 2017. Mac had been a resident of the Victoria Glen Manor since June of this year.

Mackie was born in Arthurette, NB, on September 16, 1924. He was the son of the late Clyde and Mary (McKellar) Hollins. Mackie leaves behind his wife, Noella Hollins (Michaud); his daughter, Natalie Hollins-Taylor (Danny Taylor) of Red Rapids, NB; his sons, Malcolm "Clint" Hollins Jr. (Marilyn Morrison) of Arthurette, NB, Paul Hollins (Sharon Murray) of Fredericton, NB, Blake Hollins of Arthurette, NB; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Mackie was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Doris Tomlinson; his brothers, Donald, James, and William "Billy" Hollins.

Mackie was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #85. Mackie enjoyed many activities in his younger years, such as baseball, fishing, and hunting. He was also an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Stephen Harnish officiated. Interment followed in the McKellar Cemetery in Arthurette, NB.

Remembrances were shared at the service by Mackie's daughter, Natalie Hollins-Taylor, his son, Paul Hollins, and his granddaughter, Nicole Hollins.

Pallbearers were Mackie's sons, Clint, Paul, and Blake Hollins, and his grandsons, Jeremy Hollins, Jace Taylor, and Jordie Taylor.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
