Joan Marie Johnston of Tilley, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on January 6, 2018.
Joan was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on February 25, 1935. She was the daughter of the late William and Theda (Bradford) Armstrong. Joan leaves behind her loving husband, Maynard Johnston; daughters, Mavis Turner (Colin) of Odell, NB, Dianne Kennard (Bruce) of Ontario, Patsy McKelvie of Ontario, Crystal Lagace (Russell) of Tilley, NB; her sons, Keith Shirley (Pauline) of Tilley, NB, Hugh Shirley (Anita) of Anderson Road, NB; her sister, Jean Tomlinson of Ontario; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Betty Dwyer, Barbara Griffith, and Joyce Wonder; and her brother, Bud Bradford.
Respecting Joan's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Interment will be at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
