Linda Dunster

Following a lengthy illness and with her family by her side, Linda Dunster of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Grand Falls General Hospital on February 17, 2018.

Linda was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on January 24, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Joan (Shields) Legacey. Linda leaves her loving companion of over 30 years, Edgar "Red" Giberson; her sons, Patrick Dunster of Dubai, UAE, Jonathan Dunster of Kingston, ON; her stepchildren, Randy Giberson (Chris) of Calgary, AB, Rick Giberson (Tiana) of Calgary, AB, Erin Halliwell (Lewis) of Martensville, SK; her sisters, Leah Legacey of St. Albert, AB, Lorrie Wright of Okotoks, AB, Lisa Legacey (Robert Sutherland) of Plaster Rock, NB; two grandchildren, Samantha and Bradley Dunster; and two great grandchildren.

Linda was predeceased by her parents; her son, Christopher Dunster; her sister, Laureen Holt; and a brother, Larry Legacey.

Linda was a registered nurse and worked at both Tobique Valley Hospital and Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital prior to her retirement. Linda enjoyed volunteering her time to different organizations over the years. Among those organizations were the Cubs, where she was a leader for 20 years, and the Victoria County SPCA. She was also a volunteer EMT and Sunday School Teacher.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 7 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Mr. Michael Chase officiated. Interment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Michael and Tammy Chase.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
