Greta Morrell

With her family by her side, Greta Lorraine Morrell of Aroostook, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on February 26, 2018. She was the wife of the late Carl Morrell.

Greta was born in Bath, NB, on June 8, 1944. She was the daughter of Gladys "Dolly" Pirie (Kilcollins) and the late Reid Pirie. Beside her mother, who lives in Aroostook, Greta leaves behind her children, Kelly Morrell, Lori Morrell (John Lawrence), and Todd Morrell, all from Aroostook, NB; her grandchildren, Brady Morrell and Parker Greening, both of Aroostook, NB; her brother, Dana Pirie of Aroostook, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Greta was the President of Carl's Electric in Aroostook, NB.

Funeral service was held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.

Music for the service was by Rick Christensen and Lindsay Everett. The eulogy was given by Joe Everett. The honorary pallbearer was Allen Everett.

Pallbearers were Michael Murphy, Haley Everett, Dean Yeomans, Reid Pirie, Billy McLaughlin, and Kyle McLaughlin.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
