Carolyn Johnson

Following a brief illness, Carolyn Johnson of Perth-Andover, NB, formerly of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on March 16, 2018. She was the wife of the late Frederick Johnson.

Carolyn was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on August 29, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Royden and Maxine (Inman) Jarvis. Carolyn leaves behind her son, Warren Johnson of Barnesville, NB; her grandson, Ethan Johnson (Monica) and their daughter, Adelyn, all of Crombie Settlement, NB; her sister, Brenda Holland (Phillip) of Glenwood, NB; her brothers, Leslie Jarvis (Florence) of Kiersteadville, NB, and Michael Jarvis (Carol) of Fredericton, NB.

Carolyn worked for many years at the Tobique Valley Manor in Plaster Rock, NB. Among her duties at the manor over the years was cook and activity director. She would often be seen driving the "Manor Bus" to help the residents get to their destinations.

Respecting Carolyn's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Sisson Ridge Baptist Church at 11 am on June 9th, 2018. Pastor Dwayne Broad officiating. Interment will be in the Burntland Brook Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Assistance Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
