Cecil Jackson of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on May 9, 2018.

Cecil was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on April 6, 1924. He was the son of the late Bailey and Josephine (DeWitt) Jackson. Cecil leaves behind his wife Clara Jackson (Inman); his daughter, Linda Hamilton of Calgary, AB; his sons, Bill Jackson (Kathy) of Tilley, NB, Michael Jackson of Perth-Andover, NB; his step-children, Kimberley Collicot (Ken) of Toronto, ON, Larry Ruff (Christie) of Quispamsis, NB, and Michael Ruff (Lanette); his sister-in-law, Joyce Jackson of Aroostook, NB; along with 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Cecil was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Mary Jackson (Patterson); his step-daughter, Sharon McCarthy; his sister, Jacqueline Smith; brothers Douglas, John, James, and Gerald Jackson.

Cecil was a Veteran of WWII and was injured during the War. He was employed with NB Power as the Area General Manager prior to his retirement.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 am from the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church. Pastor Reg Thomas and Rev. Wayne Briggs officiated. Interment followed in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Ruby Jean Mutch, Sophie and Emma McLaughlin, and Tammi Mutch Ketch. The eulogy was given by Cecil's son, Bill Jackson. Scripture was read by Gerald Inman and the obituary was read by Larry Ruff.

Pallbearers were Evan Jackson, Jay Hamilton, Nathan Collicot, Ethan Jackson, Chris Hamilton, and Victor Ketch.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
