1942-2018
Kathleen "Kay" Briggs of Three Brooks, NB, passed away
peacefully on May 12, 2018 following a brief stay in the Grand Falls
General Hospital.
Kay was born in Nictau, NB on April 28, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Pauline (DeMerchant) Parish. Kay leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Ronald Briggs; her daughters, Corina Vink of McLaughlin, NB, Kathy Briggs-Eichler of Smyrna, Delaware, Sheila Hansen (Duncan) of Plaster Rock, NB; her sisters, Viola Hebert (Raymond) of McLaughlin, NB, Juanita Black (Joe) of Nictau, NB; her brother, Aubrey Parish of Nictau, NB; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and one step-great grandson.
Kay was predeceased by her parents; her son-in-law, Roger Vink; her sister, Phyllis Gillespie; brothers, Dave Parish, Harold "Wease" Parish, and Murray Parish.
Kay was the custodian at Tobique Valley High School for 26 years prior to her retirement.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 1 pm from the Sisson Ridge Baptist Church. Pastor Dwayne Broad officiated. Interment followed in the Three Brooks Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Kay's grandchildren, John, James, Jana, Amanda, and Dan. Music for the service was by Kenneth Campbell. The eulogy was given by Kathy Briggs.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
