Marthe McDonald Nadeau

Marthe McDonald-Nadeau (Ouellette) of Edmundston, NB, passed away at the Edmundston Regional Hospital on June 18, 2018. She was the wife of the late Gilbert McDonald by first marriage and the late Yvon Nadeau by second marriage.

Marthe was born on July 12, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Denise (Thériault) Ouellette. Marthe leaves behind her four daughters, Joyce Albert of Hamden, CT, Gail McDonald (Kirk Ruest) of Red Rapids, NB, Brenda O'Connor (James) of Naples, FL, Sandra McDonald (Alain Blanchet) of Bromont, QC; her brother, Patrick Ouellet (Marie-May) of Clair, NB; four grandchildren, Paul, Keith, Elizabeth, et Jeffrey; and one great grandson, Luc.

A memorial service celebrating Marthe's life will be held at les Résidences funéraires Brunswick, 20 Church St., Edmundston, on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 3 pm. Interment will follow in Clair, NB. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on the day of the service 2-3 pm.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
