Roger Cormier

Roger Cormier of Grand Falls, NB, passed away at the Grand Falls General Hospital on Monday, August 27, 2018. Roger was the partner of Hercule Pelletier and the son of the late Octave and Célina (Gagnon) Cormier.

Besides his partner, Roger leaves behind his daughter, Donna Marie Martin (Dave) of Coldchester, CT; three grandchildren, Nichole, Brooke and Paige; two brothers, Lévite (late Rita) of St-Basile; Claude (Géraldine) of Grand Falls; his sister, Rina Cormier of St-Léonard; two sisters-in-law, Thérèse (late Enoïl) and Annette (late Philippe "Reno"); as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Lee; eleven brothers, Ronald, Rodolphe, Aurèle, Eddy, Edgar, Enoïl, Albert, Normand, Laurent, Philippe "Reno" et Joseph; also by four sisters, Marieanne, Clauda, Dorilda et Albertine.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2 pm from the St-Leonard-Parent Catholic Church with Father Roland Poitras officiating. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Allain Michaud and Vincent Pelletier did the collection and the bookmarks were distributed by Nicole Levesque and Patsy Levesque.
