Iva Hollins
1935-2018
It is with profound sadness that the family of Iva Marie Hollins of
Perth-Andover, formerly of Arthurette, announce her death at Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 3, 2018 following a brief
illness.
Iva was born in Plaster Rock, NB on March 31, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Inez (Copp) Robertson. Iva leaves behind her daughters Mary Hollins (Murray Dunster) and Judy Upton (Jerry), both of Perth-Andover; her sister, Rhoda McKellar of Fredericton, NB; her brothers, Clem Robertson (Ruby) of Plaster Rock, NB, Andrew Robertson (Marlene) of Ottawa, ON, Allen Robertson (Sharon) of Kingston, ON; her grandchildren, Brad Tremblay (Becky), Sheena Davenport (Scott), Kayla Liebe (Neil), and Dylan Liebe; great grandchildren Zayne Sappier, Chayton Tremblay, Kohen Davenport, Kinsley Tremblay, Norah Young, Rogue Upton, and Phoenix Upton.
Iva was predeceased by her parents and her husband, William "Billy" Hollins.
Iva was the Post Master at the Arthurette Post Office for many years prior to her retirement.
No funeral service was held by Iva's request. Interment will be in the MacKellar Cemetery in Arthurette, NB, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the IWK would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
