James "Mike" Cronk

It is with heavy hearts that the family of James "Mike" Cronk of Red Rapids, NB, announce his passing at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on October 19, 2018.

Mike was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on March 1, 1952. He was the son of the late Ivan and Bessie (McQuade) Cronk. Mike leaves behind his children, Sherri Cronk (Yves Cournoyer) of Quebec City, QC, Derek Cronk (Judy Hopper) of Fredericton, NB, Kurt Cronk (Katelyn Beaulieu) of Perth-Andover, NB, Leif Cronk (Chelby Cooper) of Perth-Andover, NB; his grandchildren, Ezra MacIntosh-Cronk, Ewan MacIntosh-Cronk, Malek MacIntosh-Cronk, Fyfe MacIntosh-Cronk, Elliott Cournoyer, and Romi Cournoyer; his sisters, Doreen Roach (Wayne) of Aroostook, NB, Linda Hoyt (Kendall) of Quaker Brook, NB, Caroline Baird (Tom) of Perth-Andover, NB; brothers, Douglas Cronk (Michael) of Newcastle, ON, Ervan Cronk (Joanne) of Belisle, NB, and Warren Cronk (Jeanne) of Aroostook, NB; and Sherri and Derek's mother, Barbara Hanscomb of Tinker, NB.

Mike was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Connie Cronk (Hollins); his brothers, Charles and Stephen Cronk.

Mike worked as a lineman during his career. He enjoyed spending the majority of his time outdoors where he would take part in many different activities.

Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday 6-8 pm. Family and friends will hold a private Celebration of Mike's Life at his home on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Perth-Andover Elks Club for Community would be appreciated by the family.
