Darlene Hamilton

Darlene Avis Hamilton of California Settlement, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on December 2, 2018.

Darlene was born in Bath, NB, on December 17, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Gladys (Michaud) Taylor. Darlene leaves behind her daughter, Penny Pelkey (Brent) of Carlingford, NB; her sons, Jack Hamilton (Susan) of Saint John, NB, John Hamilton of Grand Falls, NB, Bernard Hamilton (Robin) of California Settlement, NB, and Joey Hamilton (Connie) of California Settlement, NB; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her brothers, Douglas Taylor (Candace) of New Denmark, NB, and Roland Taylor of California Settlement, NB.

Darlene was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Teena Hamilton; her son, Randy Hamilton; sisters, Aline Wright, Sharon Young, and Geraldine Christensen; brothers, Ronald, Glendon, Donald, and Alton Taylor.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 3 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Pastor Jeremy Allison officiated. Interment will be in the Donovan Cemetery, California Settlement, at a later date.

Music for the service was by Jeremy Allison. The eulogy was given by Darlene's granddaughters, Katie Lloyd and Amanda Bourgoin.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
