Morris Tomlinson
1951-2019
Morris Hubert Tomlinson of Moncton, NB, formerly of Oxbow, NB, passed
away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving
family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Morris was born in Saint John, NB on March 14, 1951. He was the son of the late Hubert and Geneva (McDougall) Tomlinson. Morris leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Wendy (Campbell) Tomlinson; daughter Tracy Green and son in-law who he thought of as a son Rick Green, and daughter Nikki Tomlinson. Cherished Grandchildren Mackenzie Green, Gabrielle Green and Dimitri Tomlinson. Morris is also survived by his sister Donna Green (Fred) and several sister/brother in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral service was held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Father Stephen Harnish officiated. Interment will be in Burntland Brook Cemetery at a later date.
Music for the service was Valerie Tompkins. The eulogy was given by Tracy Green and Gabrielle Green. Poems were shared by Nikki Tomlinson and Mackenzie Green. Remembrances were also shared by Lowell King.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
