Sharon Cormier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Cormier of Plaster Rock, NB, at the Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on February 21, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Sharon was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on October 31, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Sherman Gilbert and the late Marion Arlene (Barclay) Adams. Sharon leaves behind her husband, Burton Michael Cormier; her daughters, Nancy Roach (Dale) of Clearview, NB, Becky Cote (Roger) of Sanford, ME, Crystal Wilkins (Gilbert) of Allenstown, NH, and Susan Walker of St. Mary's, GA; her step-children, Roger and Amanda Cormier of Perth-Andover, NB; 18 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; her brother, Graydon Adams (Sharon) of Collingwood, ON; along with many friends including her special friend Joan Copp of Plaster Rock, NB.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Ola Adams and Verna Scaggs.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 4 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Rev. Roy Dee officiated. Interment will be held at the Anfield Community Cemetery at a later date.

Sharon's family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Tobique Valley Manor for their professionalism and compassion given to Sharon during her stay with them as well as the Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
