David Jenkins
It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Jenkins of Kilburn, NB, announce his passing at the Edmundston Regional Hospital on April 18, 2019.

David was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on May 3, 1942. He was the son of the late Ralph "Bud" Jenkins and the late Roberta McPhail (Bryson). David leave behind his loving wife, Nancy Dougherty; his children, Marsha Jenkins (Iroques Medeiros) of Curitiba, Brazil; his son, Scott Jenkins (Lisa Sanipass) of Perth-Andover, NB; Nancy's children, Danica Oldford (John Stinchcombe) of Toronto, ON, Krista Bussey (Keith) of St. John's, NL; his grandchildren, Jamie Godsoe, Samantha Godsoe, Christopher Jenkins, Madeline Barnes, Olivia Bussey, and Sam Bussey; his sisters, Susan McAloon (Peter) of Kilburn, NB, Marilyn Meunier of Edmonton, AB, Patti Jenkins of Edmonton, AB; his brothers, James Jenkins (Helen) of Smith Falls, ON, Ralph Jenkins (Erma) of Fredericton, NB, Allison McPhail (Pam) of Kilburn, NB, Joe McPhail (Tami) of Perth-Andover, NB, Jack McPhail (Michele) of Perth-Andover, NB, Guy Jenkins of Halifax, NS; along with many nieces and nephews.

David was predeceased by his parents; his son, Christopher Jenkins; his sister, Janet McPhail; and his brothers, Jerry Jenkins and Paul McPhail.

David was a former systems operator for both NB Power and Manitoba Hydro. He was a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #36 and was also a member or the Perth-Andover Elks club.

Respecting David's wishes, there will be no funeral service held. A Celebration of David's life was held at the Perth-Andover Royal Canadian Legion on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #36, would be appreciated by the family.
