It is with great sadness the family of Mary du Manoir announces the her peaceful passing at home in Perth-Andover, N.B. on June 1, 2019. Mary was born to the late William Victor and Alice Miller in Nictau, N.B. on October 18, 1931.

Mary was a woman of strong character, faith and resilience. Her family was her number-one priority whom she supported in all their endeavours.

She was a graduate of Tobique Valley High School, Plaster Rock prior to entering Nursing Training at the Victoria Public Hospital in Fredericton. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Electra Chapter #9 and a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Perth-Andover. Mary was a reading Grand Buddy at the Andover Elementary School.
Mary was an avid traveller across Canada, the United States and Europe. One of her most memorable trips was a visit to Vimy Ridge where her father fought during WW1. She also enjoyed many winter months in Sarasota, Florida with a wonderful circle of friends.

She is survived by her children Elizabeth (late Lewis Sullivan), Stephen (Donna Duffy), Virginia (Neil White), James (Elouise Roane), Charles (Mary McKnight) and stepson Michael (Janet Gow) du Manoir. Her grandchildren are Benjamin (Andrea), Kevin (Laura), Brooks (Tracy), Stephen (Lauren), Adam, Ashton (Teal), Margot (Michael), Elaine (Lucas), Bliss, Maddie, Libby and Jack. Great grandchildren are Drake, Pearl, Maddie, Cody, Emma and Hailey, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Carman Bliss (1972), second husband, Guy du Manoir (1999), bothers: William (Wilma), Richard, Robert (Bernice), and James. She will be dearly missed by many.

Funeral service was held on Friday, June 7th, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Anglican Church, Perth-Andover. Father Stephen Harnish officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.

Music for the service was by organist Elizabeth Sullivan and the church choir, as well as Mrs. Roma Ferrell. The eulogy was given by Mr. Stephen Bliss.

Pallbearers were Ashton Bliss, Elaine Bliss, Adam Bliss, Bliss White, Benjamin Bliss, and Brooks Bliss.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.

Heartfelt thanks are extended to her extraordinary home care workers, the Extra Mural nurses of the Perth Unit and Dr. David Bell.
