Norma Ann Deveau of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on June 7, 2019.

Norma was born in Tobique First Nation, NB, on August 26, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian (Sappier) Deveau. Norma leaves behind her daughters, Dora Pisarek (Audrey Perley Jr.) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Ruby "Connie" Smith (John) of Caribou, ME, Tina Branch (Richard Nightingale) of Torrington, CT, Cheryl Irizarry (Jose) of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister, Ruth Kendle of Tucson, AZ; her special friend, Roy Nelson of Fort Pierce, FL; her grandchildren, Brandy, Paula, Erin, Taylor, Jordan, Crystal, Cory, Sam, Macy, Justin, Mark, Danielle, and Dakota; 15 great grandchildren; her nephews, Eric, Warren, and Dean Kendle.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 2 pm from St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Curtis Sappier celebrating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by organist Tracey Hamilton and the church choir. The eulogy was given by Eric Kendle.

Pallbearers were Eric Kendle, Jarrod McLaren, Paul Bear, Sam Branch, Jordan Irizarry, and John Smith.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
