Hinson G. Calder

Hinson Gilmore Calder of Bayside, NB, passed away peacefully in Beaconsfield, NB, on August 4, 2019.

Hinson was born in Eastport, ME, on August 25, 1945. He was the son of the late Harold and Lily (Parks) Calder. Hinson leave behind his loving partner of 27 years, Sheila O'Keefe (Scott); his sons, Phillip Calder of Deer Island, NB, Jeff Calder (Sarah) of Deer Island, NB, and Jamie Calder (Angela) of Saint John, NB; his brother, Steve Calder (Chris) of Darlings Island, NB; eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Hinson was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Sandra Calder (Barteau); and his brother, Galen Calder.

There will be no visitation by request. A Masonic graveside service celebrating Hinson's life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1 pm from the Calders Head Cemetery, Calders Head, NB.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lupus Canada, or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
