Lena Foster
1921-2019
Following a period of failing health, Lena Carrie Foster of
Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley
Hospital on August 6, 2019.
Lena was born in Woodstock, NB, on November 28, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Hazel (Turner) Linton. Lena was the last surviving member of her family.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, William "Bill" Foster; her sisters, Elva Tattersall and Pauline Manzer.
Lena taught school in several location in New Brunswick over a 49 year career. She was a member of the New Brunswick Retired Teachers Association.
Respecting Lena's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Interment will be in Linton Corner Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Linton Corner Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
